  • The SC(B) Series Epoxy Resin Cast Dry-type Transformer is a high-performance, safe, and reliable dry-type distribution transformer. It features full epoxy resin cast insulation, thin insulation high-voltage windings, high mechanical strength, low partial discharge, excellent short-circuit resistance, and superior lightning impulse performance. The coil surfaces are smooth and aesthetically pleasing, with natural material color, giving the transformer an elegant appearance.
  • This series of transformers is compact, lightweight, and maintenance-free, requiring no oil pits or fire protection facilities. It is particularly suitable for urban power grids, high-rise buildings, commercial centers, theaters, hospitals, hotels, subways, stations, docks, airports, and other critical public and industrial installations.

  • 1. High-voltage Windings
  • Manufactured using impregnated epoxy resin with vacuum casting, ensuring low partial discharge and high electrical strength.
  • The inner and outer winding surfaces are reinforced with fiberglass mesh, improving mechanical strength and short-circuit resistance.
  • Coils are fully cured and crack-resistant, ensuring safety and reliability.
  • 2. Low-voltage Windings
  • Foil-type structure ensures balanced ampere-turns.
  • Axial cooling ducts enhance heat dissipation.
  • Interlayer insulation uses DMD epoxy resin prepreg, fully cured to form a solid structure.
  • 3. Core
  • Made of imported high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel with three-stage full-step-lap joints.
  • Core limbs are bound with F-class strap and epoxy-coated, reducing no-load loss, no-load current, and core noise.
  • Core clamps and fasteners are surface-treated for durability and aesthetics.
  • 4. Temperature Control and Cooling System
  • Axial-flow top-blowing fans with low noise and high air pressure enhance overload capability.
  • Intelligent temperature controllers monitor transformer temperature for safer and more reliable operation.
